Woodburning instruments, guitars in particular, are my favourite! They're not only conversation pieces, but also a part of your identity.

It doesn't matter if you can play them or not, they bring a soothing energy to a room and house.

This is our wedding keepsake.

This guitar is a time capsule of everything important to us at the time we got married.

Forever burned it has:

- Our two wedding dates (yep two, one in Compton, CA for legal paperwork, and the other our family and friends celebration!)

- Our First Song (Bobby McGee). In search of a wedding band, we saw The Afterwhile and Gina Cuchetti absolutely NAIL Bobby McGee! We knew then they would be our band, and that be our song.

They turned our wedding into a live concert, and it was awesome!

- Tupac "California Love"...cuz Compton

- A song written for us by our Uncle Perv "Two Cowgirls"

- Little Big Town "A Little More You" verse

- The names of all our pets

and other significant memories that make this special to us.

...the sound on this guitar is awesome! I'm constantly shopping to find another brand name guitar to sneak into the house and hide in plain site....but so far, nothing compares to the sound of this one!

"The Dragon"

Custom Ziricote and German Spruce

This guitar was custom built by a Luthier named Amaurys in Belize. I travelled to Cuay Calker, Belize for 3 days to burn the dragon in before the final assembly and clear coating took place. I chose this design simply because I had limited time and it was the quickest to create.

The guitar is made up of Ziricote, a beautiful dark and textured wood native to Belize, as well as German Spruce for the face.
